How the Minecraft Soundtrack Influenced An Entire Generation

Minecraft is arguably the world's most well-known game ever, not only due to its simplicity but also because of how comforting and calm it is to play. Most of this is because of the gameplay of course, but it is also accompanied by a very soothing soundtrack that adds to the relaxation of this 3-D world.

Daniel Rosenfeld, better known as C418, is the man behind this beautiful soundtrack. The creation process began in 2009 after Notch, the creator of Minecraft, met Rosenfeld on an online videogame forum. This led to the creation and release of Minecraft Volume Alpha in 2011, and from there history was made.

Now, Rosenfeld's music has become known to millions of Minecraft players around the world and has created a sense of nostalgia for an entire generation of people who grew up playing the game, including me. The music that plays in the background as you mine and place blocks makes the atmosphere so much more soothing and memorable. 

The influence that Rosenfeld's music has had on Minecraft players is absolutely undeniable. The extreme ambience makes it unforgettable, especially for someone who grew up playing it for so many years. The music's ability to strike the players with such relaxation and emotion is something that I've never seen with any other game, making Minecraft truly special.
